Hey friends! This post will feature some of the most notable TV news I gathered during the past 2-3 weeks. I'll try to do this weekly, so.. here we go!

1. Saturday Night Live has added a new featured cast! She is KateMcKinnon and she'll first appear on the April 7 episode of the show - host: Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, Musical Guest: One Direction

2. New Girl's Rachael Harris lands a role in Suits as a representative from Harvard Law School who causes problems for Louis.

3. Cougar Town's Ian Gomez will guest star in FOX's new hit show Touch as a tsunami survivor obssessed with digging up artifacts.

4.Terra Nova's Allison Miller has nabbed a part in NBC's Matthew Perry comedy "Go On"

5. Sara Canning will reprise her role as Aunt Jenna in the finale episode of The Vampire Diaries. She'll appear in flashbacks of Elena before her parents' accident.

6. Ringer's Nestor Carbonel (Agent Machado) lands a role in ABC's pilot episode "The Smart One" alongside Ellen's partner, Portia DeRossi. What happens to his current show Ringer now? 

7. Lindsay Lohan to guest star in Glee!

8. Entourage's Jordan Belfu to appear in a 2-episode arc in ABC's hit medical drama Grey's Anatomy on May!

9.Katie Couric to appear a co-host in Good Morning America.

10. Bones renewed for an eighth season!

11. The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal will be a guest star in Harry's Law on May.

12. FX's critically acclaimed horror series "American Horror Story" will compete in the Best Mini Series category in the Emmys 2012, not in Best Drama Series.

13. Jannifer Beals and Paula Marshall land roles in CBS drama pilot "Widow Detective" alongside John Corbett.

14. Jere Burns, Kristanna Loken (The L World), John C. McGinley (Scrubs) and Taryn Manning (Hawaii Five-0) will appear in Burn Notice season 6. 

15.Smash's Theresa Rebeck will not return as a front runner in the show's second season to give way to her broadway career.

16. Hugh Dancy lands a role in the 13-episode Hannibal series from NBC as FBI agent Will Graham - one of the two main leads.

17.  Ed Speelers (Eragon) lands a role in Downton Abbey as a footman. Cara Theobald and Lucille Sharp will play maids.  Shirley MacClaine will play Martha Levinson - the mother of Lady Grantham.

18. Ryan Devlin (Cougar Town, Brothers & Sisters) lands a role on the pilot episode of NBC sitcom "Next Caller Please". 

19. Jack Coleman (Heroes, TVD) lands a role in the pilot episode of The CW's medical drama "First Cut".

20.  The Office's Ed Helms and SNL's Bill Hader will be guest starring in Mindy Kaling 's untitled sitcom from Fox

21. The Office is looking for a new showrunner as Paul Lieberstein (Toby), writer and exec prod, is planning to leave the show to prepare for the Dwight Schrute spin off show.
