Preggy Gloria (Modern Family 4x01 Bringing Up The Baby Episode Review)

The Emmys are over and while Modern Family has some celebration to do for taking home the Best Comedy Award for the third time in a row, the show is back to business.

The premiere episode of the fourth season of Modern Family began a day after the events of last season's finale. Gloria just found out that she's pregnant and the best day to announce it to her husband is during his birthday.

EMMYs 2012 Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series Dream Nominations and Winner

Now that
the most prestigious awards night for primetime television is near, let me share to you the six comedy supporting actresses who I think will (and hope) to be nominated for the  Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category. And of course, I'll include who I think must win the said award.

I want to call this category as the underrated-actresses category. SO MANY deserving actresses to be nominated, so I did my best to choose my Dream Nominees.

You ready?

Here you go?

Julie Bowen, MODERN FAMILY (ABC)

She won last year, and taking the trophy one more time is not much of a surprise. Although her performance this third season was not as good as Modern Family's second one, the Emmy voters might give the award to her nonetheless.
And who wouldn't want Julie Bowen as their mother?

Sofia Vergara, MODERN FAMILY (ABC)

This hot Colombian momma has been receiving praises for her comedic skills in Modern Family ever since the show started.  The writers of the show may not be giving her that much, but Vergara's hot accent and awesome physique makes her one of the biggest contenders for this category.

EMMYs 2012 Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series Dream Nominations and Winner

This one is a nail biter. So many deserving actors in this category!

Ty Burrell, MODERN FAMILY (ABC)

Last year's winner has a huge shot of taking home the bacon once again this year. Ty Burrell's portrayal of the fun and adventurous Phil Dunphy is surely one for the keeps.

Bill Hader, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (NBC)

Bill Hader is a nerd who's really good at making people laugh. Period.
Definitely one of the best SNL casts in the history of the show.

If the battle for Best Drama Series is intense, the fight for the Best Comedy Series Award is more... exciting. There are a lot of funny shows out there, but only few make it on the list of nominees. This category is probably the most difficult one among all the categories.

You ready?

Here we go...

MODERN FAMILY (ABC)

Modern Family has won two times for this category, and it would not be a surprise if they get the award for the third time in a row. Even though the third season of Modern Family had been mediocre and shaky, the Emmy panel might overlook this and give them the award, nonetheless.

A Rockin' Baby News (Modern Family 3x24 Baby On Board Episode Review)

Let's be honest, this season of the Emmy-award winning sitcom from ABC - Modern Family - had been pretty shaky and mediocre. We had a few laughs all throughout, but it didn't make us fall off the chair from laughing just like in the show's previous two season.

But the season finale of Modern Family was, without any shred of doubt, is one of their best yet.

I was actually worried that ModFam won't win on this year's Emmys, but after watching the season finale, all of my woes vanished. The entire episode was beautifully written and perfectly executed. A good sitcom is when it makes us laugh like a maniac, yet it also makes our hearts flutter. Modern Family surely hit those.
