Now that the most prestigious awards night for primetime television is near, let me share to you the six comedy supporting actors who I think will (and hope) to be nominated for the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series category. And of course, I'll include who I think must win the said award.
This one is a nail biter. So many deserving actors in this category!
You ready?
Here you go?
Ty Burrell, MODERN FAMILY (ABC)
Last year's winner has a huge shot of taking home the bacon once again this year. Ty Burrell's portrayal of the fun and adventurous Phil Dunphy is surely one for the keeps.
Bill Hader, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (NBC)
Bill Hader is a nerd who's really good at making people laugh. Period.
Definitely one of the best SNL casts in the history of the show.
Nick Offerman, PARKS AND RECREATION (NBC)
The Emmys always overlook the casts of Parks and Rec - except Amy, of course. This season, the show gave him better lines and funnier scenes. Let's just hope that this year is Nick's moment to shine.
Danny Pudi, COMMUNITY (NBC)
Danny Pudi is probably the biggest surprise in the whole television universe the moment Abed started speaking on the pilot episode of Community 3 years ago. Pudi deserves this award, especially now that we saw his character in so many levels this season.
Jim Rash, COMMUNITY (NBC)
DEAN DONG! The Oscar-winning screenplay writer is, without any doubt, the funniest man on the show. He always brightens up the mood of everybody, and come on... we all want such a fun loving dean like him in our school.
Eric Stonestreet, MODERN FAMILY (ABC)
Eric portrays Cam so well I didn't believe he's a straight man. He won this award two years ago, and another win is no surprise. He and Ty are the gems of Modern Family.
And the EMMY goes to...... JIM RASH!!!
