Game of Thrones released new names for Season 3

During the San Diego Comic Con 2012, Game of Thrones introduced 14 new characters for the HBO's acclaimed fantasy drama's third season.

As if the world of Westeros (including its outskirts and beyond the Wall) can't get enough of more characters to be in trouble with. Who among the characters can be considered as friends or foes?

Some of the new actors are familiar (well, at least for me), and most of them are given the break of a lifetime.

Clive Russell, as Bryndon “The Blackfish” Tully
Kerry Ingram, as Shireen Baratheon
Tara Fitzgerald, as Selyse Baratheon
Paul Kaye, as Thoros of Myr
Thomas Brodie-Sangster, as Jojen Reed
Ellie Kendirck, as Meera Reed
Richard Dormer, as Beric Dondarrion
Nathalie Emannuel, as Missandei

Tobias Menzies, as Edmure Tully
Anton Lesser, as Qyburn
Philip McGinley, as Anguy
Kristofer Hivju, as Tormund Giantsbane
Mackenzie Crook, as Orell
Diana Rigg as Lady Olleana Tyrell

Some of the characters were already actually introduced on the second book of the A Song of Ice and Fire series - A Clash of Kings - just like Bryndon, Shireen, Selyse, the Reed siblings, and Edmure. Some were written on the third book of the said book series - A Storm of Swords.

Apparently, the writers of this EPIC series decided to split the third book in half, and then put some storylines of the second book into the third season. Let's just hope that it will all go well.

Furthermore, HBO also announced that Game of Thrones will premiere its third season on March 31, 2013.
