American Idol: One More Chance for these Contestants

The following are the previous contestants of Idol who did not grab the title. In my opinion, they deserve a second chance to prove themselves.

Pia Toscano - 9th Place (Season 10)

Chris Daughtry - 4th Place (Season 5)

Let Them Play (Revenge 1x22 Reckoning Episode Review)

WOAH. OMG. HOLY MOTHER OF---.

That was an amazing finale.

Revenge ended its freshman run with loads of surprises, heart breaks, and action.

ABC's hit drama proved that it's a soap opera hiding in the lights of primetime. Yes, that's a compliment.

A Rockin' Baby News (Modern Family 3x24 Baby On Board Episode Review)

Let's be honest, this season of the Emmy-award winning sitcom from ABC - Modern Family - had been pretty shaky and mediocre. We had a few laughs all throughout, but it didn't make us fall off the chair from laughing just like in the show's previous two season.

But the season finale of Modern Family was, without any shred of doubt, is one of their best yet.

I was actually worried that ModFam won't win on this year's Emmys, but after watching the season finale, all of my woes vanished. The entire episode was beautifully written and perfectly executed. A good sitcom is when it makes us laugh like a maniac, yet it also makes our hearts flutter. Modern Family surely hit those.

#PhilJess: Who's the next American Idol?

And the winner has been named...

Having a total of 132 Million votes, America has decided once again.

Is it going to be the huge belter chic from San Diego, or the guitar-playing songwriter from Georgia?

The moment we've all been waiting for.

Our eleventh American Idol is....

Parting Ways (Glee 3x23 Goodbye Episode Review)

FOX's hit musical comedy series Glee had recently concluded its third run.

In the episode, we saw some of our glee club members officially end their high school life through a festive and a very high school musical-ey Graduation. The entire episode basically focused on goodbyes, farewells, last chances, and happy endings from and between the students and teachers of McKinnley High.

Next season, it was announced that the show will not just stay in their high school, which means, the loyal fans of Glee can follow the lives of our favorite teen singers who graduated today as they embark on a new journey outside the walls of McKinnley High. But there's one question in mind: Will it work? Now that fans are slowly drifting away from the show because of the shaky and nonsensical second and third season, will they still tune in to the show they "enjoy"?

Ivy Leaves 90210... for good

Gillian Zinser, who playes Ivy in The CW's soapy teen drama 90210, was reported to be axed in the said series.

Her character was last seen in the season 4 finale as she leaves 90210, with her boyfriend Diego, to good ol' Mexico. The writers said they can't see Ivy coming back next season since her character's arc is now wrapped up, as reported by TVLine.com

Zinser first appeared in 90210 on its second season as the blonde surfing chic.

Ivy was my favorite character. But due to bad writing and crappy character development, she lost her touch to me. Her storyline during the third season was amazing, but the writers threw it all out by season 4 (just like all of the characters').

SMASHing news: Smash exed 4 characters

Ellis and Dev will finally get what they deserve.

Jaime Cepero, who plays Ellis in NBC's Smash, has been reported to be one of the four characters in the show to be axed. Ellis was last seen getting fired by his boss for being an asshole. Looks like the most hated character in the said musical series won't be having his revenge after all.

Another character to be axed in Smash is Dev, played by Raza Jaffrey. This means that Karen's cheating ex-boyfriend won't be forgiven and will leave New York for good to pursue his political career.

Everybody Cries (HOUSE 8x22 Everybody Dies Episode Review)

For the last time, HOUSE had proved why it is one of most well written series ever created by providing us a heartfelt and imaginative final episode.

The series finale of House focused on the main character of the show - Dr. Gregory House, MD.  For the last time, we went inside House's tricky and complex mind.

For 8 years, House has been an ego maniac and a selfish bastard towards his colleagues and his best friend while battling on his personal dilemmas in life. In the finale, we saw House having a conversation (subconsciously) with some people from his past - Kutner, Amber, Stacy, and Cameron - as they convince House that there's more to life than being a crippled asshole and his life is not as useless as he thinks it is.

Kristen Wiig Exits SNL After 7 Years

A female veteran cast in Saturday Night Live has left the show.

Following the footsteps of  Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Anna Gasteyer, and other famous female casts who left SNL, Kristen Wiig has officially left the show after 7 years of being on it.

During the finale of season 37, the host Mick Jagger together with all of the casts in the final sketch of the night (and of the season), did a heartfelt and fun graduation sketch wherein Wiig was the honorable graduate and all of casts gleefully danced with her. The "graduation" was concluded by Lorne Michaels - creator of SNL - as he danced with Wiig.

Therapized (Community 3x22 Introduction to Finality Episode Review)

The final episode of the night is the season finale.

The episode is divided into three storylines: Evil Abed and Britta, Shirley vs. Pierce as the rightful owner of the sandwich shop, Troy's life in the A/C school.

The final episode of the season is also very suitable as the series finale already. However, some new questions and cliffhangers are introduced during the episode's final montage scene. Maybe Dan Harmon wrote this, thinking that this is his final episode of Community to write.

CHANGnity (Community 3x21 The First Chang Dynasty Episode Review)

Ocean's Eleven'd!

The Greendale 7 took it up a notch as they try to sabotage Chang's 25th Birthday party and to save Dean Pelton from Chang. The gang schemed and plotted and disguised their way in order to prove to the board of Greendale that Chang is a psycho maniac and his authoritarian leadership has to stop immediately. It's also the group study's way to go back to their school from being expelled.

Dan Harmon Exits

Dan Harmon, creator of NBC's Community, has announced that he will leave the show he developed. He will be replaced by David Guarascio and Moses Port as the sitcom's exec producers/showrunners. However, Harmon will be a consulting producer for the show.

Now that Community has been renewed for a fourth season, and after being bumped into Friday nights after Whitney, the show has a lot to prove to NBC that they can survive under a new leadership.

Division Divided (NIKITA 2x23 Homecoming Episode Review)

Craig Silverstein, exec producer of NIKITA, had announced that there will be at least one death in the spy action series' finale.

WARNING: If you have not seen the season finale yet, don't peek below. But if you did already or if you just can't wait to know what happened, then proceed.

There are TWO deaths in this season finale. And boy, one of them is a major character. Those unfortunate souls are....

Hawkthorne (Community 3x20 Digital Estate Planning Episode Review)

Community fans, we are in for a treat, aren't we? Three all new episodes of Community in one night.
 Cool cool cool.
In order to make my review easier, I decided to post three separate reviews for the 3 episodes each.

In Digital Estate Planning, the show did something unimaginable once again. An episode that proves how modern and imaginative the writers and producers of this show are. Last season, in "Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas", we saw the Greendale 7 in claymation as a result of Abed's weird and complex mind. In here, however, we saw them in 8-bit video game.

Suburgatory: The Verdict

ABC's freshman sitcom SUBURGATORY follows George Altman, a single father who decides to get away from New York City to the suburbs so he can give his teenage daughter, Tessa, a better life after he finds an unopened box of condoms in her drawer. However, their move to the suburbs has the daughter wondering if they just entered the world of The Stepford Wives after they see how "perfect" their new locale is, right down to the neighbors who welcome them into the cul-de-sac.

Unfortunate Surgeons (Grey's Anatomy 8x24 Flight Episode Review)

The surgeons of Seattle Grace Hospital always face unlucky and quite absurd moments during their work. From sudden deaths, to shoot outs, to endless love affairs, to screaming and scolding in the operating room. And most recently, this critically acclaimed drama added another major conundrum: a plane crash.

And weeks before the airing of the season finale, creator Shonda Rhimes had all warned us on a major character death.

So... without further ado, the most unfortunate doctor this episode is....

10 Most Promising FALL 2012 series

Before I begin this list of my the most promising new series for Fall 2012, I just have to remind you that midseason shows are not included here. These are the new shows that will air this Fall 2012.

10. Arrow (The CW)

A modern retelling of the story of DC Comics character Green Arrow, with Amell in the lead role. Cassidy plays love interest Laurel Lance, Thompson is Oliver's mother

The Journey of an Idol: American Idol Final 2 Revealed

And then there were two...

A Repetitive Cycle of Gossip Girl

The season 5 finale of The CW's hit teen drama Gossip Girl was... dissappointing. It has nothing that we have not seen before, and it seems like the entire season has just passed us without leaving a mark. In short, this season has been doing all the same things over and over and over again - with of course, some minor twists. Last season was quite an improvement, but it was dragged down by the never ending CHAIR or DAIR of Blair and Serena's annoying and diva-esque personality.Oh, and there's this character called Nate.... yeah, whatevs.

A Wedding of Sparkles

The seventh season of CBS' hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother has finally concluded. After a long year with a lot - and I mean a lot - of breaks and hiatuses, the show finally revealed Barney Stinson's bride. The wedding has been shown since the premiere of season 6 (a flash forward to the future), but by the finale of the said season, it was revealed that it's Barney's wedding (not Ted's). And during the season 7 premiere, we saw Barney having doubts whether he chose the right "tie" over the other "tie" (if you can't understand, the "tie" means woman. So "tie 1" is Robin, and "tie 2" is Quinn).

And the bride is......

Elementary: Yay or Nay?

ELEMENTARY is one of the newest crime drama series of CBS that will air in Fall 2012. Fans of the British drama Sherlock, which airs in BBC, have been complaining ever since the pilot of the show was filmed. For all of you who don't know, Elementary is based on the Sherlock Holmes books by Sir Artur Conan Doyle.

SMASH: The Verdict

SMASH is a musical series about the drama behind the curtains of a fictional musical called "Bombshell". "Smash" is a show-within-a-show vehicle about a group of people who come together to put on a Broadway musical. The Steven Spielberg musical drama, revolves around a cross section of characters who come together to mount a Broadway musical inspired by silver screen icon Marilyn Monroe.  It centers around Karen Cartwright, played by American Idol 5's runner up Katharine McPhee, as she fights for the lead role of Marilyn Monroe against a Broadway professional Ivy Lynn - played by real life Broadway star Megan Hilty.

Once Upon A Time: The Verdict

Once Upon A Time has recently concluded its freshman run... and it. was. awesome. The fantasy series, from the writers of Lost, was able to give a huge twist and depth to the fairy tales we grew up in. From Snow White to Red Riding Hood, from Hansel and Gretel to the Mad Hatter, from Rumpelstiltskin to Cinderella. The show proved to all of us that these stories are not just for kids. OUAT used these as a strength and an advantage to have an unbelievably captivating premise that surely captured our hearts.

The CW: What's renewed/What's cancelled

The CW, home of hot and good looking teens, has released their decision regarding the cancellation and renewal of the TV shows they air. Take a peek below to know what are these:

Btw, The CW has made a surprising cancellation and renewal.

NBC: What's Cancelled/What's Renewed

NBC has also released  major renewal news of the network's TV series. Take a peek below if your favourite TV series has been renewed or cancelled.

Btw, NBC has the most number of cancelled shows. So the question here is: Is their marketing a total failure? or Is it just that they have sucky shows?

Chevy Chase vs. Dan Harmon: An asshole vs. An immature

"Community is a mediocre sitcom"

No, those words aren't from me. Or from any fan. It's from an actor of the sitcom. Community regular Chevy Chase mentioned those mean words to Dan Harmon - creator of Community - in a voice mail which was leaked by the latter.voice mail made on March 2011 (14 months ago).

Foxy FOX: What's cancelled/What's picked up/What's renewed

FOX recently released quite a few major renewal/cancellation news, also some of the new TV series they picked up for the incoming 2012-2013 season.

New Girl: The VERDICT

Before I begin with the body of this post, THE VERDICT is something I made up and in here, I will post my thoughts/comments/review/suggestion regarding a freshman show (which aired during the 2011-2012 season).

Recently, FOX's freshman sitcom NEW GIRL, featuring Zooey Deschanel, had aired its season finale episode. The show centres around  Jess, a bubbly, adorable, eccentric, and young elementary school teacher, who moved in the apartment of three single men as she tries to regain herself fro a failed relationship with a guy who cheated on her. Her new house mates are Nick, Schmidt, and Winston. The gang, together with Jess's model bestfriend CeCe, resembles a group of young people as they share friendship, love, and laughter with each other despite the challenges of life.

TVD "Before Sunset" 3x21 Episode Recap in PHOTOS

WARNING: Contains Spoilers!
This post contains my recap of The Vampire Diaries "Before Sunset" episode...
in PHOTOS!

A Real Life misfit - Lauren Socha to leave Misfits

The hit British sci-fi teen drama Misfits has lost another of its original cast member. Just recently, Lauren Socha, who plays the hot headed chic Kelly, has confirmed to leave the show. She will not come back in the show's fourth season, to air by late 2012.

The Bafta winner has been sentenced to a 4 month imprisonment due to her admitted racially aggravated assault to a taxi driver. However, E4 reported that the imprisonment and Socha's departure from the series are not related. Therefore, it has been planned even before the arrest that Lauren Socha will not return anymore.

Cul De Sac Crew off to TBS?

ABC's not-so-hit-with-the-ratings sitcom "Cougar Town" is reportedly being transferred to TBS if (and only if) ABC decided to cancel the show.

The sitcom featuring FRIENDS' Courteney Cox has been trying to regain its strength, ratings wise, due to the repetitive benching of the show in the network's TV line up. The creator, Bill Lawrence, desperately campaigns for the survival of the said sitcom in his Twitter account since its February season 3 premiere. Furthermore, Cougar Town has been cut down to only 15 episodes (with original 23).

According to Deadline.com and TVline.com, TBS execs has neither confirmed nor denied the rumour. But for fans like me of Jules and her gang, wherever they want to put CT, we will still watch and support them (but of course, it's better if they remain in ABC).

*****UPDATE*****

On May 10, 2012, Creator Bill Lawrence confirmed that Cougar Town is picked up by TBS for 2 seasons.

Burning Star (Community 3x18 Course Listings Unavailable Episode Review)

Due to Star Burns' death, the Greendale 7 (our gang) decided to hold a memorial in the cafeteria which turned out to be a disaster. The group study found out that their Biology professor left the campus already so their grades in the said subject is incomplete for the semester, thus, they have to take summer classes. This information enraged the gang, especially Jeff, so he/they decided to retaliate against the school. To stop this ongoing rebellion in the cafeteria, Dean approved Chang's request to take their security up a notch with his little minions. Unfortunately (and obviously), the school committee did not like this madness o they decided to expel all 7 of them. But despite all of this, the Greendale 7 remained intact and happy because they are still together and alive.
