Therapized (Community 3x22 Introduction to Finality Episode Review)

The final episode of the night is the season finale.

The episode is divided into three storylines: Evil Abed and Britta, Shirley vs. Pierce as the rightful owner of the sandwich shop, Troy's life in the A/C school.

The final episode of the season is also very suitable as the series finale already. However, some new questions and cliffhangers are introduced during the episode's final montage scene. Maybe Dan Harmon wrote this, thinking that this is his final episode of Community to write.

Introduction to Finality climaxed once again with an inspirational Winger speech. But, the difference is, this is more of a self actualization speech regarding truth and friendship. Also, we saw another side of Troy in this episode (and also from the previous episode). He became more sympathetic and supportive of his friends, rather than always thinking about himself (and Abed).

Actually, all of the Greendale 7 (except Annie since she wasn't focused that much) found peace by the end of the episode. Shirley and Pierce finally have the sandwich shop with Jeff as the rightful owner, Abed was able to defeat his evil nemesis - himself - by realizing what's important and real, Britta getting self assurance that her choice of being a psych major is a good thing, Troy became the "messiah" of the AC school, and Jeff finally recognized his father by searching him online.

The season finale wasn't as awesome as the previous two, but it's a good season finale nevertheless. The last montage, with the opening song as the background score, was a nice added touch. It made me smile and makes me appreciate the episode more.

Now for the "cliffhangers":

1. We saw the dean of City College planning an "attack" in Greendale! And of course, Chang is spying (and maybe will join him) through the vents.

2. Starburns is ALIVE!

3. Are we finally going to see Jeff's dad next season?

4. Britta and Troy finally recognized their affections towards each other.

Over all, it may not be the perfect episode but I can't think of a better way to end a funny and amazing season.
