The CW: What's renewed/What's cancelled

The CW, home of hot and good looking teens, has released their decision regarding the cancellation and renewal of the TV shows they air. Take a peek below to know what are these:

Btw, The CW has made a surprising cancellation and renewal.

RENEWED:

The battle for Blair's heart continues as The CW renews their hit teen drama Gossip Girl for a 6th season.

The "medical" soapy drama Hart of Dixie was also given a chance to prove itself once again as it was given a full second season renewal.

Probably the most exciting news for me. The awesome awesome awesome spy action series Nikita was also given a renewal. More action, more drama! The show definitely deserves a third season since this is one of The CW's finest and smartest shows.

Now, for the surprising part. Without a doubt, the lowest rated show in the network was surprisingly given a fifth season. After an amazing third season, the fourth one 90210 was awful and horrible. I was actually quite sure this would be cancelled, but looks like The CW proves once more that they have rather stupid and corny teen shows than smart and interesting ones.

Sam isn't going anywhere as Supernatural is renewed for an 8th season.

And of course, if this show gets cancelled, fans all over the world will burn the main headquarters of The CW during work hours. The Vampire Diaries gets another full season after the heart wrenching and mind blowing season finale. The fight for Elena's love continues.

CANCELLED:

One Tree Hill aired its final episode last March. This episode concluded the 9 year run of the hit soap.

A very very surprising cancellation. The CW cancelled The Secret Circle. That finale was amazing and ended with a heart racing cliffhanger, but The CW probably thought that a supernatural teen series about witches is not fit for the network. Bad move, The CW!

Another surprising cancellation is Ringer. Although many fans and critics say was essentially cancelled by episode 16 due to low ratings, the writing and the acting was superb. Too bad we are not going to see what's gonna happen next to Siobhan and Bridgette.
