CHANGnity (Community 3x21 The First Chang Dynasty Episode Review)

Ocean's Eleven'd! 

The Greendale 7 took it up a notch as they try to sabotage Chang's 25th Birthday party and to save Dean Pelton from Chang. The gang schemed and plotted and disguised their way in order to prove to the board of Greendale that Chang is a psycho maniac and his authoritarian leadership has to stop immediately. It's also the group study's way to go back to their school from being expelled.

The second episode of the 3-new-episodes line up of Community did not disappoint. It was intelligently written, poignant, funny, and heart warming. Sacrifice has to be made as Troy decided to join the A/C school in order to help the gang from escaping Chang's cell. 

I also love the fact that the Ocean's Eleven plan did not take up the entire episode.It gives us more time to appreciate the entire plot of the episode, that will eventually lead up to the sad (and funny) farewell scene of Troy as he embarks on a new journey in the AC school.

If there's one thing Community is good at, it's their ability to make the audience sympathize and feel sad for the characters, yet making them laugh at the same time. The melodramatic parts of the episodes are always followed, or most of the time simultaneous with, a funny moment. 

Abed being sad that Troy left them was.... well, sad. It's a good development for Abed and his friendship with Troy.

Over all, an amazing and funny episode. Community has totally giving it all for the audience who keeps on fighting for them.
